American Metal Roofs will award one (1) grand prize at the end of the prize period. The prize period begins on February 13, 2023 and ends on February 12, 2024. The grand prize winner will be determined from a random drawing of all entries received during the prize period. The odds of winning the grand prize are determined by the number of entries received prior to the time of the prize drawing. American Metal Roofs reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify, or terminate this sweepstakes without notice at any time. The winner will be notified by certified mail within 15 days of the drawing .Return of any prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. All prizes will be awarded. The grand prize winner will receive up to $25,000 off the price of anew installed metal roof (the “prize”). The prize has an approximate Retail Value of up to $25,000.00. The number of square shall be determined by the number needed to install a new roof at winner’s location. The prize does not include removal or disposal of old roof, ventilation repairs, any wood repairs, skylight installation, or any permits required. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible Entries received, estimated at 1:68,000. The prize must be installed at the address listed on the winning entry form. Installation must be provided by American Metal Roofs personnel or designee. All expenses not specifically provided for are the sole responsibility of the winner. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in these Rules, if a winner has already purchased goods or services from American Metal Roofs, the purchaser may elect to receive money back from their original purchase, up to $25,000.00 in cash. No purchase is necessary to participate in this sweepstakes. A sales presentation is requested, but not required for entry into the sweepstakes. Void where prohibited by law, rule or regulation. Alternatively, you may print your name and your complete address on a 3”x 5” card, write the words “American Metal Roofs SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY REQUEST” at the top, and mail the card to American Metal Roofs at its address above. Mailed entries must be post marked by February 12, 2024. No more than one entry per household is allowed. American Metal Roofs is not responsible for any illegible, misplaced, damaged, or late entries. The address listed on each entry form must be the address where the prize is to be installed if such entry is selected as a winner. Sweepstake entrants must (i) be legal residents of the United States; (ii) be 18 years of age or older, (iii) own their own home, which home is in a suitable condition (as determined by American Metal Roofs or its designees) for installation of the prize (including compliance with local building codes and regulations), and (iv) reside in a geographic area in which American Metal Roofs is permitted to install such prize at the winner's location. Employees, officers, and directors of American Metal Roofs, its affiliates, subsidiaries, co-branded partners, consultants, contractors, advertising, public relations, promotion, fulfillment and marketing agencies, their immediate families (and those living in their same households) are not eligible to participate in this sweepstakes. The winner’s house must be in suitable condition for installation (e.g., no water, mold, structural damage, etc.). Any waterproofing, remediation or other repairs necessary for proper installation (as deemed by American Metal Roofs or its designees in their sole discretion) must be performed at winner's expense prior to installation. Installation labor does not include painting or staining. No transfers, substitution in prizes or cash will be allowed except by American Metal Roofs, who may substitute a prize of equal or greater value in its sole or absolute discretion. Cash value of the prize is deemed to be$25,000.00. Upon installation of prize, American Metal Roofs will be deemed to have awarded the prize to the winner with the winner assuming full ownership and responsibility for the prize. Winner must arrange for prize installation no later than one (1) month following the award of the prize and installation must occur and be completed within twelve (12) months of confirmed notification. The winner must comply with all instructions in the prize notification correspondence, including the completion of an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release, and return them within fourteen (14) days of the date on the prize notification correspondence as well as have met all of the eligibility requirements set forth within these Rules; otherwise prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. Acceptance or use of a prize constitutes permission for American Metal Roofs and its affiliates to use recipients name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without compensation, unless otherwise prohibited by law. Liability for any applicable taxes, including all federal, state, and local taxes and/or other fees that may apply to prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Any required tax reporting forms will be furnished to the Internal Revenue Service. Entries that are lost, late, illegible or incomplete for any reason will not be eligible. In the event of a dispute concerning the identity of the person submitting an entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the winning home is titled. By participating in the sweepstakes, participants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless American Metal Roofs, its affiliates, co-branded partners, subsidiaries, retailers, agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, from any damages that may arise out of participation in this sweepstakes in anyway or out of the acceptance, use, misuse or possession of a prize. Acceptance of a prize may require entering a standard contract or purchase order for the goods and services to be provided, as required by state law. This sweepstakes is conducted in English (which will be given its everyday ordinary meaning).
