HeatBarrier XP

Save your Money! Keep Heat from Leaving Through Your Ceiling.

The Revolution

Radiant technology is not new. But, the HeatBarrier XP concept is indeed revolutionary. Large sheet radiant products have been around for a long time. But, the manufacturers don't like you to know that once they become covered with dust, they lose much of their effectiveness. HeatBarrier XP solves this problem. Our blowers broadcast 6 to 10 layers of radiant barrier flakes in the average attic. The upper layer of flakes will get dust covered while the lower layers continue to work.

Most people assume that if they have adequate insulation in their attic, they’ve done all they can to maximize their energy savings. But by adding HeatBarrier XP you will greatly reduce your heatloss during the winter and heat gain in the summer, making your home even more comfortable.

Radiant Barrier: Simply Defined

HeatBarrier XP radiant barrier flakes are a highly reflective surface that easily changes the direction of infrared heat instead of having it absorbed into your insulation. Why slow heat down in your home or office when you can change the direction with a low cost, proven, high performance radiant barrier? The performance of HeatBarrier XP is unmatched and comfort and savings are immediate.

NASA Paves the Way

During the Apollo missions NASA developed a thin light weight space suit for astronauts. The suit was designed of many thin layers of aluminized material as insulation so the suit would reflect the body heat of the astronaut back at them. This enabled the astronauts to survive in space. If the suit was made of conventional materials the suit would be so thick the astronauts could not move. This technology hRadiant Barrier reflects heat in winter and summeras now made its way into our homes. A typical home looses 50% of its heat through the ceiling in the form of radiant energy. By blowing several layers of HeatBarrier XP Insulation (aluminized flakes) over your conventional insulation your heat is reflected back into your home. This heat recycling can lower your heat bills by as much as 50%. A Thermos uses this same principle to keep your coffee piping hot.

HeatBarrier XP in Your Home

During the winter, radiant heat is reflected back into the home. This prevents heat lose through the ceiling. The opposite occurs during the summer. Heat reflects off the HeatBarrier XP insulation, preventing it from entering your home and reducing the need to turn up the air conditioning. Proper ventilation helps remove this heat from the attic.
