Benefits of an American Metal Roof

Resists Snow, Ice, Moss and Fungus

These enemies of ordinary roofs are no threat to Rustic Shingle. Snow and ice are quickly melted by aluminum's heat-reflective properties. And the PVDF finish provides no porous footholds for moss and fungus. View the full list of benefits

Terra Tile is reminiscent of an Old Spanish tile. It is a metal panel with a deep configuration in the form of an "S" or Spanish tile. The panel is installed vertically up the slope of the roof, with exposed fasteners on either an open frame or solid substrate underlayment. It is lightweight, allowing installation over one layer of existing roof without the need of tear-off and disposal. TerraTile is popular among residential applications in southern states where expansion and contraction are not as big a concern. Because of its exposed fasteners, great care should be observed when installing it in northern climates. Terra Tile has a recommended minimum pitch of 3:12. Terra Tile has the look of a clay tile roof without the problems associated with its care.
