The Double Locked Hemmed Seam roof, because of its double mechanical seaming, allows Standing Seam to be installed down to a 1/12 pitch. With the addition of sealant and Floating stainless steel clips the Double Locked Hemmed Standing Seam can be installed down to a pitch of ¼:12.

A Double hemmed seam roof will be as close to watertight as any standing seam roof and will exhibit strong oil canning tendencies. These roofs are generally used in areas where they cannot be viewed.
